Letter to Blogosphere

Dear B-Sphere,

I think it is finally time that we talked about some issues I've been having...with you.  It's not me, it's you.  Wait, that came out wrong.  Oh Blogo, it just seems like you are so shallow!  Remember when I used to write you poems?  Little haikus?  Yeah, I loved writing those.  They came from someplace real inside me.  But what did you say?  Nothing.  You barely noticed.  You were just, like,

That's all you had for me?  A SURVEY?  After all I did.  Oh, I just can't stand you anymore!  Do you wonder why I never write?  No, of course you don't.  You are too busy cozying up to the editor of Slate, aren't you?  Well, he may be big and powerful, but does he care?  I hope he sees you for what you are.  Jerk.

Author's note:    I don't actually hate much of blogdom, but I do hate the word "blogosphere".  It makes it seem like the subject of a National Geographic special.  I prefer "blogdom", with its D&D overtones, or even "blogodrome" or "blogodome", because Mad Max was cool.

Think of it:    Mad Max IV: Beyond Blogodrome.  It would be in a post-apocalyptic future where nerds controlled the world's supply of bandwidth, and one lone, mysterious man (Mel Gibson) would dare to traverse the desolate ether to combat the RedHats, a gang of ruffians hoarding precious server space with a seemingly incorruptible server.

Mel would bring them down.  He would find their kernel of weakness.
