Obligatory Entry

I had told Matt I would post on Thursday. Whoops. Dropped the ball by an hour and a half. I am engulfed in an ocean of schoolwork, pushing hard towards graduation, and occasionally a week will sort of break over my head and leave me bewildered as to where it came from or where it went. This week has been one such. I genuinely thought I had turned in a lab report this afternoon. Apparently, I turned it in yesterday. I am not sure where the intervening 24 hours went, but I am sure they were not spent idly.
Currently, homebrewed hooch is percolating through a diatomaceous-earth/coffee-filter setup. The input looks like a hefeweizen, the output looks like a lager. I will then refine the brew into ethanol for my renewable energy class (please don't do an energy balance for this process, the net might make me cry). At any rate, it is fun.
My senior design project is a human-powered submarine. Basically, it is an underwater bike. That project is a tad more frustrating, as we are just about to get all of the components for the powertrain. It is due the first week of May.
My other classes proceed normally with weekly homeworks and tests next week. The desk can sure look like a good target for the forehead sometimes, but I try not to slump or bash on it.
So, perhaps that gives you some insight into the frequency of my posts. I apologize, and can only look forward to the day when I can write what I want when I want to, rather than lab reports.
