Don’t get me wrong – I didn’t throw the application.  In fact, I thought it was my best of the three.  Of course, I am confident that wherever I go to school next year will be an excellent experience.  I only applied to programs that I loved.  But no one likes to hear “No.”  I have a few ideas on why they said no, but I’m not going to put them up on the internet.  If you want to hear those thoughts, you’ll have to meet me for beers.  So, I’ll cross Stanford off the list, and eagerly hope to join the hoi polloi at The Big Green.
