Hello?  Cathedral-like, the vastness of the internet returns not an echo.

As this is my first self-generated contribution to that ethereal tangle of information called the world-wide-web, I have a sense of being a grain of sand on the floor of the Coliseum.  Publicly available for inspection, but miniscule in the vastness of the venue.

Lest I wax unnecessarily poetic, here are some facts that seem appropriate for a first entry.

I am 21 years of age and a senior in mechanical engineering.  I work for a small electro-optical power sensing company, and very much enjoy the mechanical challenges presented by the power industry.  My interests include theology, hunting, engineering and of late - guitar.  My brother and I have been blessed with also being close friends; so, when Matt desired to open up a weblog, I desired to help.

Being an engineering student leaves one with little excuse to write.  Alas for me, I enjoy writing, prose or poetry, and this may prove to be a handy forum to practice a little.

Thank you for reading, It is my hope that minerbrothers.com will be an enjoyable experience for all who participate.

Wanted to get in on the ground floor of your site in its nascent operation, in the event it morphs into Powerline.com or Townhall.com. Looking forward to your postings!
